

He was born Sunday, December 28, 1947 in Borger, Texas, the son of Earl Othello Burdue and Neamo Ruth Washburn Burdue. Earl retired from Texas Instruments as a maintenance engineer. He served his country in the U.S. Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He was was avid outdoorsman and was especially fond of fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Sherrie Burdue of Sadler, Texas; son David Burdue of McKinney, Texas; daughter Toni Osborn & husband Jerry of Irving, Texas; step-daughter Cindy Caldwell & fiance Chad Hickerson of Ector, Texas. Also surviving are his grandchildren, the lights of his life; Cody Burdue, Brent Osborn, Noah Caldwell and Ashten Caldwell.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife Christine Burdue; sister Earline Johnston; brother-in-law Bob Johnston and sister Betty Ennis.
The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 7:00 – 8:00pm.
Funeral services will be held at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, April 4, 2016 at 10:00am.
Burial will follow at Colgate Cemetery in Colgate, Oklahoma.
