Frances J. Koiner, age 81, of Denison, Texas entered into rest on Thursday, December 27, 2018. Frankie was born October 19, 1937 in Krum, Texas to Ethel and William Koiner. She was the youngest of eight children. She met the love of her life, Lincoln Owens, Jr. in Denison while he was stationed at Perrin Air Force Base. They eloped on December 31, 1954 to be married in Gainesville, Texas. Together they shared 63 wonderful years together.
Frankie was a homemaker for many of her years while being an Air Force wife. Once she and Lincoln retired in Denison, she began working at Action Line and finally retired from the Denison Independent School District as a “cafeteria lady.” She enjoyed her careers (especially every child “she fed” at the different schools she worked) and made many friends. She will be missed my many.
Frankie is survived by son Jerry Owens and wife Robin; daughter Cindy Mahana and husband Brent, all of Denison; brother, Charles Koiner of Virginia; grandchildren Stacy Mahana, Trent Mahana and wife Whitney, Ethan Owens, Rose Smith. Frankie has many nieces and nephews and she loved each one dearly. Frankie had a special love for Debbie Bockman, Stacy Mahana, Whitney Mahana and Jerri Fletcher, whom all loved and cared for her.
Frankie was preceded in death by the love of her life, Lincoln, her parents and brothers and sisters.
Our Mother was the most wonderful woman, you are blessed if you knew her. She will be deeply missed by all.
Family will have visitation Saturday December 29th at 10:00 AM at Fairview Chapel in Denison with graveside services to follow at Fairview Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
