Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, December 23rd at Bratcher Funeral Home with Jeremy Berryhill of Victory Life Church, officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, TX. Arrangements are by Bratcher Funeral Home.
Jackie was born in Dallas, TX to James and Mable Hartin on February 17, 1944. She attended school in Arlington, TX. She married William Griffin on January 8, 1964 in Houston, TX. Jackie was a member of Victory Life Church in Durant, OK. She was a wonderful wife and compassionate mother of six children. Jackie was a gifted piano player and loved playing for everyone. She enjoyed life to the fullest and cherished spending time with her family and friends. Jackie was a child of Christ and always tried to lead others to Him.
Jackie is preceded in death by her husband William Griffin, son Christopher Teets, and her parents.
Jackie is survived by her five children: Denise Taylor of Alvarado, TX, Charlotte Darmian and husband Moe of Richardson, TX, Dayna Blalock and husband Jonathan of Tipp City, Ohio, Cindy Tanner and husband Phillip of Lone Grove, OK, Danny Griffin and wife Dawn of Denison, TX, one brother: David Harris and wife Pam of Houston, TX, twelve grandchildren: Aaron Herbold, Jason Morris, Lida Darmian, Neima Darmian, Allyson Tresp, Brianna Tresp, Megan Tresp, Mary Blalock, Jennifer Pryor, Stacey Boss, Laura Griffin, Chloe Draffen, and six great grandchildren: Draven Alphin, Scarlet Morris, Celesta Pryor, Kindal Pryor, Colton Pryor, and Jayden Tanner.
Pallbearers will be Moe Darmian, Phillip Tanner, Victor Pryor, Aaron Herbold, Neima Darmian and Chris Rawleigh.
