

She will lie in state at Bratcher Funeral Home Wednesday, January 29th for viewing and funeral will be at Chapel On The Hill at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman at 2:30 P.M., Thursday, January 30, 2014. There is no set family time.
Judy was born on Saturday, June, 19, 1943 in Racine, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harold Main & Myrtle Schoenleben Main. She went to school in Racine and married Bruce Wiertz there. He preceded her in death in December 2010.
She was a baptized member of Parkside Baptist Church in Denison. She loved sewing and all needle work and created many beautiful pictures for family members. She also loved decorating her home and loved animals as well. She was a quiet and reserved soul who loved her family very much. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
She is survived by son Robert Wiertz; daugher Kristy Reese of Denison; sister Sharon Garvin of Denison; sister-in-law Kathy Walker of Harlington, Texas; cousins Carol & Doug Alexander; nieces & nephews Scot & Lisa Garvin, Brent & Trudy Cantrell, Mark & Kelly Wheeler and families.
She was preceded in death by husband Bruce Wiertz; son Ricky Wiertz; parents Harold & Myrtle Main, grandparents Herbert & Cora Belle Main; grandparents George & Ada Schoenleben; aunts & uncles Leone & Frank Firks, Tye & Doug Langsdale.
The family would like to thank employees and staff at Stonebrook Assisted Living and Memory Care for their compassion; Guardian Hospice for their wonderful compassionate women, especially Toni Wheeler; Dr. Joe Church; Parkside Baptist Church and friends; Jerry Coffman for officiating and Delbert Vest for singing.
