Kay Fritts

Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Bratcher Funeral Home in Denison.

Celebration of life will be 12:00PM, Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with Randa Norman officiating with burial to follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Ritchie, Mark Wines, Teman Bowles, Benny Bowles, Wesley Ritchie and Brandon Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Brown, Bud Wines, Danny Sturgill, Charley Garner, Jake Murphy and David Bledsoe.

Kay was born Monday, January 20, 1941 in Denison, Texas to William Kenneth & Ima Dean (Patterson) Sampson. She married Ray Fritts on Wednesday, July 10, 1957 in Denison, Texas. She was a member of Colbert United Methodist Church. When God created Angels he had Kay in mind, she was an example of a perfect woman, wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. I am sure that Jesus has a tear in his eye today, not a tear of sadness, but a tear of joy for what a perfect angel he has received. Kay will be missed dearly by all who have been graced by her beautiful smile and loving personality.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Kellis Sampson and a brother-in-law Gene Fritts.

Kay is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ray Fritts, of Denison, Texas; son Toby Fritts & wife Angie of Pottsboro, Texas; daughters Debbie Ritchie & husband Gary Henderson of Pottsboro, Texas, Brenda Stewart & husband Clint of Cooper, Texas; grandchildren Misti Ritchie, Trey Ritchie, Wesley Ritchie, Mindy Ritchie, Landon Stewart, Brandon Stewart, Dustin Stewart, Ezra Fritts, Duce Fritts & Tinsley.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colbert United Methodist Church.
