Kenneth Murray Cooper

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home from 6:00-7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 10, 2011 for visitation.

Funeral service will be held at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 9:30 A.M. with Quinton Gage officiating. There will be another service held at 3:00 P.M. at Shannon-Rufe Snow Funeral Home, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Watauga, TX 76148.

Burial will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX. 76034.

Kenneth was born in Colbert, Oklahoma on March 12, 1937, the son of Murray Cooper & Ina Mae Hill Cooper. He graduated from Colbert High School in 1956. Soon after, he joined the sheet metal apprenticeship program in Ft. Worth, Texas where he learned a trade. That led to him starting Cooper Sheet Metal in 1985 and he retired from there in 2000. He returned to Denison, Texas to take care of his aging mother.

He is survived by son Chris Cooper & wife Donna of Keller; half-brother Monty Cooper & wife Christine; half-sister Gailene Cain & husband Chester of Colbert; grandchildren Kyle, Lauren & Zane Cooper; several nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by father Murray Cooper & mother Ina Mae McDonald.
