Kenneth L. Rose

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery.

Kenneth was born Wednesday, September 23, 1936 in Nicut, Oklahoma. He enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard after high school and eventually retired as a National Guard Recruiter in 1994, earning the rank of SFC. He attended college at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma and Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was a lifelong, avid bowler who loved to play golf and travel. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Denison.

He is survived by son Alvin Blaine Taylor & wife Kristina of Norman, Oklahoma; daughter Kimberly Sue Wynns & husband Kenny of Midwest City, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, with a fourth on the way.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Rose-Taylor of Caddo, Oklahoma and his loving wife of almost 17 years, Betty Jo Rose of Denison.

Kenneth will be remembered for his appreciation of a good cup of coffee, a good meal and spending time with his friends.
