

Sally Taylor was born on March 11, 1924, the youngest of seven children of George and Ethel Ball of Tom Bean, Texas. She attended Rose Hill School and graduated from Tom Bean High School, where she was voted “most beautiful” of her graduating class.
She was a baptized, faithful Christian who loved her Lord. She was a member of Park Avenue Church of Christ and she loved singing hymns in her beautiful alto voice. She married Gordon Stewart Taylor, Jr. on January 25, 1946. She loved her family.
She was reunited with the love of her life on November 19, 2014.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Larry Long; son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Mary Taylor; grandchildren Craig and wife Katie, Scott and wife Teri, Suellen and her boyfriend Canaan, Amy Fay, Ronda and husband Dave, Allen Taylor and Kristi Long; great-grandchildren Jonah, Abbey, Logan, Jaxon and Kellan Long, Ashley, Garric and Merlin; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, siblings and parents.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Memory Care family at The Willows in Sherman for loving and taking care of our Mom/Mimi the last three years.
The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home in Denison for visitation from 6:00-7:00 P.M., Friday, November 21, 2014.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Park Avenue Church of Christ in Denison with Todd Catteau officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harold Porter, Tommy Pickrel, Bill Smith, Jason Lindsey, Josh Wagner and Shawn Self.
