Martha Tennessee Christian

She was born July 30, 1928 in her childhood home of Dave C & Blanche Hearrell in Neosho. She moved 22 times following her husband's career & raising four children until settling in Plainfield Indiana for fifty one years. She enjoyed participating in her children's activities including Cub Scouts, Brownies, Boy & Girl Scouts. She loved traveling, going across the US, Hawaii, Switzerland, Ireland, and cruises in the Caribbean. She also enjoyed reading, spending time with grandchildren, and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Smith and husband Bill; son, Tom Christian and wife Stephanie; son, Matt Christian and wife Sue; son, Paul Christian and wife Chanthavy; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert A. Christian, her parents, and three brothers. Services will be scheduled at a later date in Neosho, MO.
