Myrna Bernice Wilson

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 12 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Anthony Cheek officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.

Bernice was born on Saturday, April 3, 1937 in Hopkins County, Texas, the daughter of Arley and Jewell McKay. She married Bobby Wilson on July 28, 1956 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a lifelong devout Christian and member of Calvary Family Church in Grand Prairie, Texas.

She is survived by her loving daughter Laurie Annette Smith and husband Charles Smith; grandson Trevor Smith of Grand Prairie, Texas; sister Arlene Wade of Herber Springs, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by Bobby Wilson, her husband of 50 years; brother Carroll McKay; sisters Laverne Melton and Leatrice Foster.
