Ronald Glenn Watson

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rusty Denny officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, TX 75090.

Pallbearers will be Ron Watson, Jr., Mikel Williamson, Matt Blackmon & Chris Rust.

Ronald was born March 10, 1938 in Ashland, Ohio, the son of Glenn Watson & Helen Mack Watson. He married Donna Shearer on January 14, 2001 in Kona, Hawaii. He was a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen; graduated from Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Ohio; received his Master’s Degree from Pacific Western University in California; retired from IBM after 20 years; also retired from Experian Credit Card Co., where he was a computer engineer; was owner-operator of custom home company in Plano.

He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by wife Donna of Allen; son Ronald “Ron” Watson, Jr. of Plano; daughters Jennie Watson of Denton; Rolaine Weeks & husband Lowell of Mansfield, OH; step-daughters Stephanie Williamson & husband Mikel of Frisco, Kim Blackmon & husband Matt of Flower Mound; brothers Kenneth Watson of Mansfield, OH, Gerald Watson of Mansfield, OH, Jim Watson of North Carolina; grandchild Blaise Weeks.
