We met through our parents. Our dads knew each other. We weren’t even in school yet! There isn’t just one memory but a whole childhood full of them. There is one of us where we were jumping in a pile of leaves that were in a ditch right around the corner from where she lived on Crawford street now. (but waaaaay before she actually lived there). I jumped in and lost my shoe. It was cold and rainy. I had to walk home without one shoe. We both have a granddaughter that look like us. We always thought it would be great if they were to ever be best friends!
I am so sorry, Shannon and DeAnn. Sorry that you lost your mom and I lost my friend. My heart goes out to you and the family.
