

Tom is lovingly remembered by his daughter Margette Harle and grandsons Mark and Ron Harle of Decatur; step-daughter and her husband Monica and Kendall Bagwell of Whitesboro; brothers and their wives Jeffory and Arvona Mills of Whitesboro and Bob and Beth Mills of Hamilton, Virginia; Mark and Dianne Scoggins, who were like a brother and sister to him and his dog Daisy Duke.
Tom is preceded in death by his beloved Carol Martin and his parents Montrell “Red” and Marjorie Mills.
He was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on February 9, 1952. He played football at George C. Marshall High School in Falls Church, Virginia, where he graduated in 1971. He went on to join the Air Force and was stationed in Europe before coming back to the United States to make his home in Grayson County, Texas. In 1985, Tom co-founded Grayson Pro-Tech. He loved his Cowboys and his passions were hunting and fishing and being one with nature. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion. Tom was a friend to many and would help anyone he could.
A memorial service will be held at Bratcher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 3:30 P.M. Family visitation will be held from 2:30-3:30 P.M., prior to the memorial service.
Burial will be at 11:15 am, Monday, December 21, 2015 at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas with Military Honors performed by the Air Force Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask that you donate blood at your local blood bank.
