
Robert James Wallace, lovingly known as Bobby, passed away on April 25, 2026, when he was called home to be with the Lord. He was born on October 28, 1982, in Fort Collins, Colorado, to his parents, Susan and Robert.
Bobby was raised in Colorado, where he built the foundation of strong family values and deep connections that would define his life. He was later blessed with a blended family, whom he cherished deeply and remained close to throughout his life. One of his greatest joys was becoming a father, and he was excited to build a family of his own.
He is survived by his spouse, Kaitlin, and his children, Declan and Brynne. He is also survived by his father, Timothy; his siblings, Steven (Katherine), Michael (Deborah), Kristina (Josh), Joanna, Timothy (Danielle), and Jessica (Richard); and many cherished cousins, including Heather, Shawn, Bonnie, Laurie, Katie, Natalie, Sarah, Melissa, Cody, Garrett, Kelly, and Christy
Bobby took great joy in being an uncle to Blake, Evelyn, Grant, Wyatt, Weston, Koda, Carter, Keira, Beau, Gage, Riley, Elisa, Andrew, Nichole, and Grace.
Bobby was a charismatic, generous, and deeply loving man whose presence could light up any room. Known for his captivating smile and quick wit, he had a sense of humor that resonated with people from all walks of life. He was highly intelligent and incredibly talented, especially when it came to mechanical work. Bobby had a natural gift for fixing anything, especially cars and building. He took great pride in sharing his knowledge with anyone eager to learn.
Throughout much of his career, Bobby pursued his passion by opening and operating his own auto mechanics shop, Wallace Autos, in various locations. His dedication to his craft and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Outside of work, Bobby had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, camping, and simply spending time in nature. He was also exceptionally handy at home and found joy in working on projects, especially alongside his son, Declan.
Above all else, Bobby’s greatest love was his family.
Bobby’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. His kindness, generosity, laughter, and love will be remembered always. The impact he made on his family, friends, and community will never be forgotten.
A visitation for those who wish to say their goodbye's to Bobby will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 10AM-12PM, followed by a closed casket funeral service beginning at 1PM, both at Olinger Hampden Mortuary in Denver. A reception will follow at Mike and Deborah's house, 16416 E Phillips Pl in Englewood.
