Brian Craig Omura was born on March, 15 1981 in Grand Junction, Colorado, and passed away unexpectedly from heart disease on July 10, 2015 in Lakewood, Colorado. He was 34 years old. He was happily employed at Bolder BioPATH, Inc., where he applied his literary and scientific talents.
Brian was a multifaceted person who deeply celebrated film, literature, Halloween, and the best of life. His greatest times were game nights, participating in immersive theatre, and spending time with his friends and family. Brian described the immersive theater experience of the Punchdrunk organization as life enriching.
Brian is survived by his mother and father, Linda and Gregg Omura, his younger brother Travis Omura, paternal uncle, Wayne Omura, several cousins, a large circle of dear friends from all over the world, and his cat, Zoe.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00pm on July 25th at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 E Hampden Ave., Denver, Colorado, 80231. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to Bug Theatre, www.bugtheatre.org, or 3654 Navajo Street, Denver, CO 80211 or Punchdrunk, www.givey.com/punchdrunk
