Carol Margaret Stegeman was born December 21, 1935 and died May 4, 2017. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She retired from Denver Public Schools after 29 years. She loved to sing, crochet and did both for many years. She was also active with her church community and loved to play cards. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Ernie. She is survived by son William, daughter-in-law Debbie, daughter Cindi, son-in-law Jeff, son Stephen, and daughter Patty. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Stephanie, Adam, Vicki, Karen, Hannah, and Laura, as well as 13 great-grandchildren: Brookelle, Rueben, Halia, Dominic, Bobby, Danny, Aria, Bentley, Kaitlynn, Forrest, Elijah, Esme, and Ariella.
Viewing and Rosary will be held at Olinger Mortuary 8600 E. Hampden Ave. Denver CO 80231 on Tuesday May 9, 2017. The viewing will be from 6pm-7pm and the rosary will be from 7pm -8pm. The funeral will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Church 19099 E. Floyd Ave Aurora CO 80013 at 10:30am on Wednesday May 10, 2017 with a reception following.
