

Cecelia (Sis) was born on May 29, 1920 in Spring Creek, South Dakota to Josephine Cordier and Morris Douville. She married Leon Prue and one son was born to this union, Ron Prue. She married Stephen Richards October 24, 1949 in Alliance, Nebraska and resided in Sidney, Nebraska until his death in 1965. Christine Enos, Marlene Richards, Sam Richards, Steve Richards and Debra Richards were born to this union. She is survived by her children and one sister Violet Douville Rogers. She is also survived by 16 grand children, numerous great grand children and great great grand children.
Cecelia was very active in the Denver Indian community and worked at the Denver Indian Center. She was also involved with CANA, an organization that visits Native Americans, from various reservations, who have been sent to Denver area hospitals for medical treatment.
She was well liked by everyone who knew her and was a well respected elder of the community and will be missed by the Denver Indian community.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, brothers Marvin, Fremont, and Vincent Douville, and two sisters Christine Evans and Angeline Richards.
A one-night wake will be held at the Denver Indian Center, 4407 Morrison Road, Denver Colorado on Wednesday, October 10th, starting at 7:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3801 West Ohio Ave, Denver, CO with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetary in Wheat Ridge, CO.
Fr. Mark Kovacik will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial.
