Cherie D. Higgins

Cherie Dawn Higgins, 84, of Centennial Colorado, passed away on January 20, 2023 after a heart-breaking battle with Alzheimer’s. Cherie was born on April 4, 1938 to Stanley and Margaret Crock in Aspen, Colorado. She moved to Denver, Colorado at a very young age and graduated from Englewood High School in 1956. Cherie was preceded in death by her husband, DuWayne Higgins, her parents Stanley and Margaret Crock, her in-laws Durwood and Lucille Higgins, and her loving kitty cats Snuggles and Baxter. Cherie is survived by her two children Steven and Karen, her granddaughter Loray and her beloved cat Trixie. Through the years, Cherie enjoyed competitive artistic roller skating with her husband, DuWayne, gardening and cooking. All animals, especially cats, had a very special place in her heart. Cherie did not wish to have a service. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
