Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana, whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. She is survived by her loving husband, Darrell Dinkel; her children, Dana Stifter (Joseph Stifter) and David Dinkel (Jacqueline Dinkel); her cherished grandchildren: Samuel and Jack Wicklund; Maxwell, Wyatt, and Sara Stifter; and Jacob Dinkel; and her sister, Iris Schmitt.
Cindy’s greatest joy came from her family, whom she supported with unwavering love and encouragement. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, and gentle strength, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she graced.
Cindy loved cheering on her favorite sports teams and was a constant sideline supporter for her grandkids in all their activities. Having lived in many places across the country and traveled the world, Cindy chose to make Colorado her home.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 12th, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden, Colorado, with a reception following.
She will be remembered always with love and gratitude.
