The Cox family loved Darnell. We met him and his family when they were children through his grandmother, the beloved Betty Stamps.  He was very close to her.  Darnell had a contagious smile and a positive, welcoming spirit. Of all the memories, what stands out most to Corey and Codi is “he was always kind” to them.

We offer our condolences to the Grillier family in this difficult time of loss. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Stay strong, lean upon and lift each other up.  Darnell will always be with you in your hearts and live on through your memories. He will be missed but not forgotten.

I haven’t seen Darnell since he was a little boy running behind his big brother! Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to see the man you had become before you left this earth. By the looks of things you seem to be that same little boy just all grown up! God had bigger plans for you. When I see you again in heaven you’ll be like “Hey I remember you I use to come over your house!” Sending love and prayer to Cliff III and the family! 



Words seem so feeble in moments like these. Life is so precious and death such a thief. The depth of your pain, I cannot comprehend, but I’ll stand alongside you in the darkness, my friend. Love is a bond that death cannot part. Gone from your arms, but still in your heart. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family today and always.

My little brotha! You left us way too soon. We miss your chill vibe, funny jokes, and love for everyone. We're all blessed to have spent time with you. I love and miss you so much, bro! I thank God I got to know you almost your whole life and share so many good times and laughs with you. I know you got your cool ways from Momma G and Pop G. They poured so much into all of us as kids and their love and support for the family is awesome and so appreciated. 

Words don’t justify how I felt upon hearing the news of your loss. Your brother may have passed, but his memory will live on. My condolences go out to Clifton & the entire Grillier family.

Sandra and Clifton ,I am so sorry to learn of Darnell 's passing , I have such wonderful  memories of the many BBQ's and Holiday events you two hosted at your home , and  the excitement and joy  in your son's eyes during those happy family events , I can still envision Darnell in the garage getting ice and drinks. I know virtually  there is nothing I can say  that will really reduce the pain you are  feeling , but hopefully you can have some solace that  Darnell is Resting In Peace, God Bless You.
