Dorothy Garcia

Dorothy W. Garcia, born in Denver, Colorado on April 16, 1934, was greeted by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 18, 2016. Beloved wife of Ernest Garcia, (married 46 yrs. and the love of his life). Mother of Doreen (Johnny) Aragon; Edward Ulibarri, Iris (Paul) Gonzales, Gene (Erma) Ulibarri, and preceded in death by her son Dennis Ulibarri; Step-Children: Rose Garcia Delgado, Johnny Garcia and preceded in death by Ernest Garcia, Jr.; Survived by siblings: Darlene, Eloise, Diana, Stella and Richard; preceded in death by her loving Mother Josephine, Father Joseph, brothers & sisters: Edward, Ernie Marie, Rose. And, Grandmother to three generations of numerous children.

Dorothy was a loving and caring woman who cherished life and everyone around her. She was a quick study when it came to topics of healthy living and the Holy Bible. As a devoted Christian, she glorified in the word of the Lord. After retiring from the City and County of Denver as a Dental Records Assistance, Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her husband. Her frequent phase was “We’re like two peas in a pod, he don’t go anywhere without me and neither do I”. One of her most treasured memories was traveling to Israel and being baptized in the Jordan River. There are so many other cherished memories with family and friends that brought Dorothy a lifetime of happiness.

Dorothy was incredibly strong and courageous when faced with adversity, until the moment she was called to heaven. She is an amazingly beautiful woman whose legacy will live on in our hearts forever.
