A life-long educator, George shared his passion for learning with all. Whether he was teaching English, counseling students, serving as a principal or leading as a superintendent, he always treated everyone with respect and instilled in people a desire to be the best they could be.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Ardeth, daughter Heather (Mark), son Mark (Kate), granddaughter Jennifer (Christopher), grandson Ryan, grandson Jacob and great granddaughter Scarlett.
A celebration service will be held at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant (5400 S. Yosemite Street, Greenwood Village) Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Presbyterian Church of the Covenant or a charity of your choice.
