

Louise was born in Naples, Italy on Oct 26, 1919 to Vincent and Anna Cinque. She moved to New York when she was just nine months old. After growing up in New York with her 7 siblings, she met and married Elmer Handley, a handsome young military man. Louise and Elmer packed up their two young children and moved westward, and landing in Denver in 1950. Louise loved to cook and was famous for her bowls overflowing with homemade ravioli, delicious Italian desserts such as pizzelles and cannoli. Louise enjoyed painting ceramics and cake decorating. She had a wonderful sense of humor.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband Elmer Handley. Louise is survived by her sisters Connie Capriotti and Jo Ann Vetere, her brother Vincent Cinque, her son Bill Handley and daughter Terry Dunlap, several nieces and nephews, five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Louise passed away on January 5, 2013 at the age of 93.
A grave side service will be held on Thursday, January 10, at 2 pm at Ft Logan National Cemetery.
