Lurene "Grandma Mac" McCoy

Lurene McCoy better known as Mac and most affectionately as Grandma Mac, was greeted in heaven by her husband of 44 years, Dale O. McCoy Sr., son Patrick McCoy, her 11 siblings, including her identical twin sister Lurane (Quint) Kloberdanz whom she shared a very special relationship and Irene Hendon, her dearest sister-in-law.

Love of God and Love of Family was paramount to our Mom. It was reflected by the way she lived her life. She never met a stranger and children held a special place in her heart. Mom left a wonderful legacy of love in her eight children Dale (Peggy) McCoy Jr., Mo (Ray) Bila, deceased son Patrick (Lety) McCoy, Barb (Jim) Clark, JoLeen McCoy, Colleen (Jerry) Pauli, Kim (Bob) DeLong, and Brian McCoy. Grandma Mac was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Mama touched many hearts and will be greatly missed. "We Love You More" Mom.

In lieu of flowers, Lurene requested donations be made to Queen of Peace Church for a Novena to be offered for her and the faithful departed.

There will be a Visitation on Wednesday, April 4 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm which will be held at Olinger Hampden Mortuary at 8600 E Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday, April 5 at 10:00 am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church at 13120 E Kentucky Ave, Aurora, CO 80012.
