92, of Thornton, passed away April 30, 2018. Marion is survived by her children Mary Lopez, Jennie (Henry) Kelly, Irma S. Garcia, Emerlinda (John) Cruz, Virginia (Ernie) Sandoval, Manuel R. Castro, Patricia St. Clair; 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren, as well as, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Bert L. Myers, Manuel E. Castro; and son, Bert L. Myers II. Marion really enjoyed all her family and friends around her, and cooking for them. She volunteered at Telecom Pioneers, painting maps at grade schools, crocheting lap blankets, sewing bear pillows for heart patients, and helped cook at Maple Grove Grange for banquets and other functions.
A Visitation and Rosary will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 5-7PM, with the Rosary beginning at 7PM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10AM also at Olinger Hampden Mortuary in Denver. Marion will be laid to rest at Olinger Hampden Memorial Gardens following her Celebration.
