What I will remember most about Martha is her beautiful smile and wonderful giggle.  Just thinking about that combination makes me smile!  She was such a loving and caring mother to her two daughters.  They adored her and rightly so!  After Gail passed away, I was so grateful to be able to keep her memory alive through keeping in contact with Martha.  Such a wonderful, wonderful lady!  So now she is smiling and giggling with Ralph and Gail by her side in the presence of the Heavenly Father.  Thank you for being a dear friend!

Ralph and Mary Martha were the first people I met when I joined the choir at Central Methodist back on a very warm June evening in 1959. The rest, as they say, is history. Martha always had a smile to greet you with, even during Ralphs last illness. She was his rock and as I think of it. She was a rock to many of us over the years.  Always interested in each of their friends and concerned when we were down. She will be missed by al who knew her!

I met Martha in 1956-both of us sang alto and became very good friends. We shared so much together-the births of our children. both of our husbands passed away too soon and we lost our daughters the same year. Martha was a very special lady and I loved her . She is now with Ralph and Gail. Rest in peace, my friend.

My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? - John 14:2

I've thought and wondered how Jesus goes about preparing a place for us.  After all we already have everything we'll need in heaven, right?  So what is this preparation Jesus speaks about?  I've concluded that he prepares our place by placing people there ahead of us.  And that is Jesus has done with Martha - placed her there ahead of us.

In the meantime she will be missed; our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Many, many years ago I was lucky to be her "Secret Daughter" while in Rainbow Girls.  I got to shower her with surprises.  It was fun to hear her tell others about who she thought was bringing gifts.  She was a shining light in my life and I was blessed as her "adopted" daughter.  Just thinking about Martha and Ralph makes me smile.  So many fond memories.  Rest in peace Martha.

Back in the day we knew you as Mary Martha.
Nancy and I always said that when we were retired, we wanted to be just like Ralph & Mary Martha. We never heard an unkind word from their lips. One of our favorite memories is when the two played Ma & Pa Kent in our epic 2- reel 8mm epic, Superman, the Home Movie. At long last, they are together again!
