I have been down this road multiple times, and I know where I stand.  But I am going to travel it anyway.  I have told you countless times and I am going to say it again…I love you with all my heart.  You are the most incredible and kindest soul I have ever met.  Wise beyond your years, a thoughtful, free-spirited, full of life, guided by heart, and always walking your own path.  No questions asked, no wondering, I just pray YOU REST IN PEACE! I knew Naomi from Eaglecrest High School. I was an Assistant Principal when I met her. She was a person who stood out due to her lovely and uplifting energy. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Just know she will always be near.

As her teacher and DECA advisor, Naomi was always so affirming to talk to and had such wit and charm. I have nothing but great memories from her and she has made my life better. Much love goes out to all of her family and special friends. ❤️

Naomi. I haven't stopped thinking about you since I heard of your passing. You will be missed. Your optimism helped me through some tough days. I promise to find a brighter side to things and when I do, I know it's you trying to communicate with me. Naomi was really a kind soul. She basically held my hand when I got my nose pierced. I wanna say we got our nose pierced together but it was almost 10 years ago lol. Naomi saw someone attempt to take advantage of me while I was not in the right state of mind and she walked me back to my dorm. She made sure I got in bed and checked on me the next day. She also told me that I should join Wartburg's BSU  and I did lol. I remember she ran for VP of the  the student body and her and the guy she ran with won BUT he quit and left her to be the president of the student body of Wartburg. Naomi, I remember you were so stressed but girl it was so inspiring to see you in that position. You just don't know how amazing and powerful you were. I can remember her saying that I was just so nice and had a kind soul but it was her. She was the kind soul. She always thought of others before herself and I'm sad to see her gone. Naomi, you were loved and I hope you are at peace now🖤 I will never forget you and the impact on this earth that you had.

Those of us who have had the honor of knowing Naomi know how great of a blessing it is. If you needed help, you never had to doubt that Naomi would be there to support you until the very end; knowing she always stood up for who and what’s right. Her spirit is ineffable. She was a true servant leader and a great friend.

I was saddened today to learn of Naomi’s passing.  I always thought it a privilege to spend even a little time with her; after each of our conversations, I felt a bit stronger, a tad more optimistic, and a lot more generous toward others.  How fitting it was that she earned the Wartburg Nobility Award in her junior year, recognizing her “vision, action, and diligence.”  And how wonderful to hear Naomi describe her love of learning when she brought her high-school English teacher to Wartburg to receive an award.  What a blessing she was to all who knew her.

Our deepest sympathy to all who are grieving Naomi’s death. She was such a bright light who exhibited love, courage, strength, and hope at Wartburg college. I was privileged to know and work with her as she advocated for students  and their goals. May she rest in peace.

To know Naomi was to be loved immensely and to have your life changed! Every room she walked into lit up because of her beautiful dimpled smile, personality, and her light! I spent my freshman year helping get her elected because she was a natural born leader and I believed in the person and human that she was! Naomi was nothing short of empathetic, sweet, amazing, and just everything that was good in life! My life has been forever changed because I knew her! 29 years is not nearly enough time on this Earth but I hope she is safe, happy, and knows how LOVED she is on this side! Her Wartburg Family is grieving this amazing person and this great loss! My heart is with her family during this time! Naomi, I love you, until we meet again! I met Noemi at Wartburg College she was a great leader and a woman of faith. I pray for her soul and the father to have her in his holy grace in the eternal life. My Condolences to Noemi's Family.

Naomi is one of those special people who leaves a mark on you forever. We worked closely together as pastoral residents before the height of the pandemic in 2020. Naomi taught me so much about love, community, and solidarity. Naomi’s energy,  laugh,  passion, fashion… unmatched. I will miss her dearly!

Naomi had me try African food for the first time. She invited me to her lovely home and family. Naomi touched hearts of many.

Naomi and I met as Orientation Leaders at Wartburg College, and from that moment I knew she was the kindest sweetest person, with the charismatic personality. She was a caring friend and loving daughter and I am blessed to have known her and her family.

I’m really going to miss you! You were the best part about my experience at Wartburg. I’m so blessed to have met you. I’ll never forget our trip to India, the shenanigans we would get into working special events/The Mensa, (they would literally separate us 😭) getting our belly buttons pierced on outfly, our in-depth conversations about religion and whether or not our pets go to heaven(you said my dog wasn’t going to heaven and I got mad 😭) and so many more memories being the silly duo we were. I’m so incredibly hurt by this news, but I’ll always cherish the great times we had together.  I can’t wait to see you again and wreak havoc in the after life! Till next time!🩷

I loved Naomi so much one of the first girls to show me real genuine love no matter my downfalls. She bought me a Bible with my name engraved on it, I will cherish it and her forever! ❤️ RIP to an amazingly beautiful soul!

My Condolences,

I met Naomi when I attended my first year at Wartburg. She was kind, outgoing, hilarious, and outspoken. I felt grateful to get to know her during my first year there. I was excited to see how she continued to grow outside of college by following her Instagram. Then following her business that she was working on. It is a tragedy to discover this news of a wonderful person, I am so sorry for your loss.

I told her she looked like a JoJo character and she went along with it like she always does.
