

Richard Allen White was born on July 11th,1928 in Wichita, Kansas. He was a man of many great accomplishments, with a warm heart and spirit. He spent much of his life as a meat cutter before deciding to work for the United States Post Office as a letter carrier. He had a very strong work ethic and a pride in customer service. He was recognized by the city of Aurora for his efforts in improving the community and neighborhood. He was the Del Mar Neighborhood Association President for many years. Aside from his work at the United States Post office, Richard had a love for the cowboy life, including cattle, rodeo, and bull riding. He was a hunting enthusiast, and also enjoyed learning Spanish and singing in the choir. He spent much of his time with extended family and friends at large family gatherings.His grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him so much cheer.
Richard had such a strong presence in the community and will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife; Rosemary White, and their three children; David (Gretchen) White, Monica (Mike) Lehr, and Deborah (Jim) Bruner, as well as his two siblings; Scott White and Donna Whitehouse. He will be missed by his eleven grand-children, Jeremy Viscomi, Jessica Viscomi, Andrea Bukur, Jason Lehr, Allison Lehr, Sarah Debevec, Drew White, Greg White, Jack White, Sarah Miller and Laura Bruner. He will be missed by ten great- grandchildren; Jake Viscomi, Ryan Viscomi, Dakota Evans, Dalton Evans, Logan Nunez, Bryson Kendall, Xander Lehr, Sydney Lehr, Caleb Debevec, and Jaden Debevec.
