Sharlene Denise Theard

Sharlene Denise Theard peacefully entered eternal rest on March 22, 2025, at the age of 85. A devoted woman of faith, Sharlene loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart and lived a life of service, compassion, and grace.

She was a dedicated member of Colorado Community Church, where she served faithfully as a greeter, always offering a warm smile and kind words to everyone who walked through the doors.

Sharlene retired from the State of Colorado, where she worked in data entry in the department of occupational health. She was deeply respected for her professionalism, diligence, and care for others throughout her career.

She now rejoins her beloved husband, Sidney Noel Theard, who preceded her in death in 2015, and her dear sister Estell Jackson, who passed away in 2024.

Sharlene is survived by her loving children, Jacqueline Shepard and Zarack Shepard; her cherished grandchildren, Anthony Shepard and Donovan Shepard; her sisters, Louise Smith and Margret Nash; and a host of extended family and dear friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Her celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, located at 8600 E Hampden Ave, Denver, Colorado 80231. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Sidney at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.

As we remember our mother, grandmother, auntie, sister and friend, let us embrace one of her favorite scriptures, which brought her comfort and joy.

Revelation 7:16–17 (ESV): "They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

Sharlene's warmth, faith, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
