Stan grew up in Englewood Colorado and was a very devoted son. Stan accepted the Lord as his Savior as a teenager. Stan and his brother Steve went on many road trips vacationing in different states. Later Stan moved to Alaska and had many exciting adventures snowmachining and flying in his brother in-laws plane. Stan was very close to his sister and when she moved to Oregon he went also. A day never went by without talking to each other on the phone several times. He had some wonderful caregivers the last couple years who became close friends. Everyone called him “Stan the weatherman” he has a little dog Molly that he loved and was always so happy to spend time with her.
Stan is survived by brother Steve (Blanche) sister Margaret (David) and numerous nieces and nephews that he cherished.
A graveside service for Stanley will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM at Olinger Eastlawn Cemetery, 19600 East Smith Road, Aurora, CO 80011.
