

Albert John Pavlick, 90 of Des Plaines was born April 4, 1925 in Chicago to John and Viola (nee Kuhn) Pavlick and passed away December 15, 2015. Al was an electrical contractor and owned Hyre Electric. His company proudly lit Willis Tower, McCormick Place and most of the highways and byways in the Chicagoland area. Al proudly served as a member of the 284th Field Artillery Battalion in WWII. He was a member of Ridgemoor Country Club and champion of numerous golf tournaments. Al was the beloved husband of 58 years of the late Jacqueline (nee Glenicki); loving father of Christine (Art) Scheidecker, Daniel Pavlick, Thomas (Deborah) Pavlick, Cara (James) Evans and Albert James Pavlick; cherished grandfather of Matt (Alyson), John (fiancé Katelin Shafer), Michael (Kelli), Eric, Gavin, Stephan, Warren, Caitlin, Ian, Kaitlin and the late Marissa Christine. Al is also survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Visitation Friday, December 18, 2015 from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street (Northwest Hwy./Rt. 14 at Rand Road) Des Plaines. Prayers will be said Saturday, December 19 at 9:15 AM and proceed to St. Mary Church, 794 Pearson Street, Des Plaines for funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 appreciated.
