Charles “Chuck“ Davis, 90, of Des Plaines was born on April 13, 1925 in Chicago and passed away July 17, 2015 in Des Plaines. Chuck was the beloved husband of the late Nancy (nee Schnelle) Davis and the late Elizabeth Jane (Nee Terwilliger) Davis; caring father of Scott (Mary) Davis, Tom (Robin) Davis, Carol Burkhart, Julie (Curt) Volling and Nancy (Craig) Jenkins; dear grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 15; fond brother of Dolores Jedd and the late Earl Davis. Chuck was a Des Plaines firefighter for over 30 years. Visitation Monday July 20 from 3-9pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (corner of Northwest Highway /Route 14 and Rand Road) Des Plaines, IL. Prayers will be said Tuesday July 21 at 9:15am at the funeral home and proceed to St. Stephen Church, 1267 Everett, Des Plaines, IL. mass 10am. Entombment All Saints Cemetery Mausoleum.
