Charles S. “Chuck” Farina, 80 of Des Plaines was born April 15, 1937 in Melrose Park to Salvatore and Florence (nee Vasta) Farina and passed away April 29, 2017. Chuck was the loving father of Salvatore M. (Cathy) Farina, Florence M. Farina, Michael C. (Tina) Farina and the late Margaret T. Farina and former husband of the late Aileen “Mickey” Farina; cherished grandfather of Christopher, Michael, Joseph, Maxwell, Jakob, Haley and Charles; dear brother of the late Marie West, Mickey Cochran and Nancy Hall and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street (Northwest Hwy/Rt. 14 at rand Road) Des Plaines. Prayers will be said Wednesday, May 3 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and proceed to St. Zachary Church, 567 W. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines for funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
