Charles T. Kenny

Charles T. Kenny, 74, of Mount Prospect, US National Guard Veteran, was the beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Wiercioch). Charles was born in Chicago on July 25th, 1941 the eldest son of the late Thomas and Katherine Kenny. He was a Chicago Sports fan – especially the Bears, and fisherman extraordinaire. He was never without a story, joke or statistic to converse about. He is survived by his cherished daughters, "Charlie's Angels", Michelle (Paul) Vedner, Laura (Gary Mushinski) Kenny, and Melissa Kenny. He was the most awesome Grandpa to Megan and Ryan Vedner; beloved brother of Thomas (Judy), Patrick (Grace), Mary Lou (the late Cliff) Kemper, Noreen (the late Curt) Bohlman, and Terry (Jan), fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and friend to all who met him. Visitation will be Tuesday December 22, 2015 from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street (Northwest Hwy/Rt. 14 and Rand Roads), Des Plaines and Wednesday December 23 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 700 South Meier Road, Mt. Prospect from 9:00 AM until time of funeral mass 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Maryhill Cemetery.
