Dorothy D. Kalteux

Dorothy D. Kalteux (nee Conley) was the beloved wife of the late Frank; dear mother of Donna (Andrew) Lego, Dennis (Mary) Kalteux, Debra (Greg) Paddack, Daniel (Linda) Kalteux and Frank (Linda) Kalteux; loving grandmother of 12; and great-grandmother of 11. Born June 17, 1923, in Chicago, she passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, in Arlington Heights. Dorothy was an avid bowler and pinochle player. She enjoyed her summer home, photo albums and swimming. She was a Girl Scout leader and living proof that eating chocolates can prolong your life. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines, IL 60016. Funeral services will be on Thursday, beginning at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, proceeding to Immaculate Conception Church, corner of Harlem and Talcott avenues, Chicago, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Memorial Hospital, 707 W. Fullerton, Chicago, IL 60614 or Shriners Hospital, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707.
