Edwin T. Oscarson Jr.

Edwin Theodore "Ted" Oscarson Jr., born July 20, 1940, passed away suddenly Feb. 27, 2011. Mr. Oscarson was a North Chicago resident for nearly 40 years and was a loyal employee of Nalco Chemical for more than 30 years. He was the son of the late Edwin and Dorothy (nee Reading) Oscarson, and was preceded in death by brother, David; sister, Debra (Mrock); grandparents, Maude Reading, Jenny and Henning Oscarson; uncle, Clifford Oscarson; aunt Margaret; and uncle Jack Lersch. He is survived by sister, Carol; brothers, Steve (Kiki), Jeff, Randall (Lisa); and aunt, Jeanne Oscarson. He was the greatest loving uncle to Adam, Andrew, Christopher, Heather, Jamie, Jennifer, Kimberly, Marcy, Matthew, Nicole, Renee, Timothy, Tina and Tracy. He will also be missed by six great-nieces and nephews; five cousins; and several second cousins. He was the life of the party, first to arrive and last to leave. Unfortunately, he has left this life too soon. Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, from 1 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 3 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Interment is private.
