Eugene B. Lewandowski

Eugene B. Lewandowski of Des Plaines was born July 5, 1931, in Chicago, to the late Valentine and Clara (nee Schank) Lewandowski, and passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Eugene was the beloved husband of Patsy J. nee Connaher; loving father of Debbie J. (Dan) Calmeyn, Sue J. (Bill) Gushurst, Don J. (Maria) Lewandowski and Teri L. (Tim) Queen; cherished grandfather of Danny, Bobby, Ryan, Megan, Christopher, Taylor, Sarah, Paige, Charlie, Rylee, Bailey, Tyler and Jenna; dear brother of Carol (the late Dave) Dempsey, Dan (Edy) Lewandowski, Joyce (John) Borysenko, Al (Jan) Lewandowski and the late Robert (Mary) Lewandowski; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Prayers will be Thursday, at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home and continue to St. Emily Church, 1400 E. Central Road, Mount Prospect, for funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
