Evdokia "Dokie" Meyer of Elk Grove Village Evdokia "Dokie" Meyer (nee Arvanetes) was the beloved wife of the late Lou Meyer; loving daughter of the late William and the late Mary (nee Calogratos) Arvanetes; dear sister of the late Chris Arvanetes and the late Louis (the late Jean) Arvanetes; caring aunt of the late Janet Arvanetes; and fond cousin of Chris (Bonnie) Argianas,Lynn Argianas, Diane and Jerry Negele, Gina and Jim Grady, Deloris Janota and several more cousins. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, at 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E. Dempster St., Des Plaines, Ill.
