Evelyn Helen Bayer

Evelyn Bayer, 94 formerly of Des Plaines was born December 14, 1927 in Chicago to Joseph and Eva (nee Schlecter) Reis. She passed away peacefully on May 9, 2022 at Glenview Terrace Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, son Ray (Glenna), and her dearest sister Theresa (Joe) Eckl. She is survived by three sons; Michael (Janet), Kevin (Melissa) and Alan. She has been blessed with eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines, IL. Prayers will be said at 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by the requiem mass at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 27, 2022 at St. Stephen the Protomartyr Catholic Church, 1280 Prospect Ave., Des Plaines, IL.
