

Francis (Frank) J. Williams, age 93, died on April 16, 2021, in Evanston, IL. He was born in Chicago to Sterling and Elizabeth (nee Ternes) Williams on July 18, 1927. He was the beloved husband of the late, Frances T. (nee Conway). They were married on April 11, 1959, at St. Sabina Church in Chicago.
Frank attended Quigley Preparatory Seminary and graduated from Loyola University, Chicago, where he studied psychology and business, earning both a Bachelors and Masters degree. He served in the United States Air Force in active and reserve duty for over 23 years, retiring with the rank of Major. During his time in the Air Force, Frank worked on the Man in Space Program, which preceded NASA.
Frank was employed by Teletype Company in Industrial Relations (Human Resources) for over 30 years, retiring in 1984.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Karen (Williams) Mastrolonardo (late, Michael), son, Kevin Williams (David Woolwine) and granddaughters, Amy Mastrolonardo, and Jenna Mastrolonardo. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Hopkins (Bob), and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on April 26 at St. Zachary Church, 567 W. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines, IL. Visitation will be at the church at 10:00 am, with mass following at 11:00 am.
