Gerald W. Swanson of Wauconda, Illinois was born on February 14, 1949 to the late Ewald Arnold Swanson and the late Kathryn Lou (nee Stewart) Swanson and passed away June 16th, 2023. Gerald was the loving husband for 47 years of Janet (nee Piepenbrink) Swanson; devoted uncle and great-uncle to many; he adored his caring dog Ilse Fay.
Gerald was the owner and operator of J.G.S. Enterprises, Inc.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Gerald that will be held on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 AM at Oehler Funeral Home. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
