Great Christian couple, lived by example, we were truly blessed to know them both,one day we shall meet again.

Exuding Christian authenticity and love, sister Hildegard will always be an example to follow. Thank you, Lord, for such people! We have been blessed by her (and her beloved husband) kindness, and readiness to help the needy.

I came to know Sister Hildegard when I fellowshipped at the Barry Avenue meeting from about 1999 to 2005. Afterwards we continued in touch. She was always so very kind, caring and encouraging.
My prayers are with her family. I am sure that they miss her much.
Meanwhile, I am happy for her; She is with our Lord in a scene that is unspeakably joyful; FAR BETTER!
We look forward to being with her again soon.

I never met Mrs. Jung, but from what I understand she was a tremendous help to my family when they came to the states. My parents were so grateful that they named me after her! She sounds like she was an exceptional lady with a big heart. I'm sad I never got to meet her, but she'll always have a special place in my own heart. My condolences to her family.  <3

I am so deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Sister Hildegard.  I remember when I first came from Romania to United States with my parents, I was about eight years old.  We started attending the same church sister Hildegard attended.  I remember to this day so vividly how Sister Hildergard and her wonderful husband brother Werner came to our home and provided us with cloths and other items to help us make it in this Great country.  I also remember seeing all the youngsters riding on their bikes and me looking and wishing I had one.  I will never forget when sister Hildegard showed up with a bike for me.  It was like the hands of Jesus stretching from heaven saying here you go young man. 

Thank you Sister Hildegard, you were the hands and feet of our Lord Jesus taking care of the poor and helping them in the Name of Jesus.

Today I have a bitter sweet feeling.  Bitter because you will be missed greatly and sweet because I know I will see you again in the kingdom of the great King.

We continue to think of all of you. Great memories of your mom and dad. Hard to believe I knew her almost 40 years since - Bob and Jane met- I remember her signing all her cards and letters "With Christian Love" and her smile.  Wayne, Russ and Molly, Doug and Ruth, Jane and Bob we continue to pray for all of you and her entire family that you may all be comforted and receive peace from Jesus Christ ❤

"A new commandment I give to you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

By this shall all know that ye are disciples of mine, if ye have love amongst yourselves." John 13:34-35

This is what we've seen generously displayed in Hildegard's life along with her desire to present the One who is the Source of that Love as the only One that can bring Salvation to all who repent of their sins and believe in Him.  

Pat and I have benefited first hand from that love. She will always have a special place in our "life's memory book"

Wayne,Doug,Russ&Jane, Please know that our desire is to be with you for your precious Mother's services; however,Terry will be out of town and I am managing two grandchildren. Your mother was the first to invite us for dinner when we began coming to Barry Ave in '72, and your parent's warmth and cheerfulness extended to us until the last times we were together.
