Jerome (Jerry) M. Selep of Des Plaines passed away on July 20th, 2023 at the age of 76. Jerome is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Cynthia; loving father of Timothy, Christopher (Olivia), and Tedra; cherished grandfather of Jules, Amanda, and Jake; great-grandfather of Grayson and Mia; dear brother of Christine (Don), the late Gloria (Richard) and David (Brooke); fond brother-in-law and uncle to many.
He was a very special person who loved woodworking, fishing and being a grandfather.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Jerome that will be held Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 from 4 - 8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois. Jerome will be escorted to his final resting place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Ellwood, Illinois with military honors.
