Joan A. Kaiser

Joan A. Kaiser formerly of Des Plaines Visitation for Joan A. Kaiser (nee Culton), 84, of Covington, Ga., will be at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines on Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be Thursday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines. She passed away Friday Oct. 29, 2010, at the Traditions Health and Rehab Center in Lithonia, Ga. A native of Chicago, Joan was a 1947 graduate of West Suburban Hospital School of Nursing in Oak Park and she worked at Forest Hospital in Des Plaines for 27 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin E. Kaiser Sr.; loving mother of Sandi (Larry) Kayton of Westchester, Karen Jo (Tim DeSmet Sr.) Kaiser of Covington, Ga. and Marvin Kaiser of Lindenhurst; cherished grandmother of Jason Cossiboon, Sarah Beth Ghozali, Rob Hayes, Seth Kayton, Kristina DeSmet and Tim DeSmet II; great-grandmother of Nicole Hays and Bailey Bone Cossiboon; dear sister of John Culton of Portage, Wis., Joyce Kolze of Milwaukee, Wis. and the late Richard Culton; and fond aunt of several nieces and nephews.
