Joan was born to Edna and James McConville on October 2, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the sibling of Curran McConville and Thomas McConville.
She is predeceased by her mother and father (Edna & James), in addition to brothers Curran and Thomas.
Joan is survived by her children (and their spouses) - Thomas Leander, Kathleen Rybowiak (John), James Leander (Susan). Grandchildren (Thomas); Echo, Bethany, Gustav; Grandchildren (Kathleen); Lynn & Lauren; Grandchildren (James); Megan, Kevin, Rebecca in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
A viewing and funeral service for Joan will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois followed by a graveside service at Ridgewood Memorial Park (9900 Milwaukee Avenue) in Des Plaines at 12:00 PM.
