Joseph Cadavid of Des Plaines The visitation for Joseph Cadavid, 74, will be from 3 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 8 p.m. Thursday, at Oehler Funeral Home, Des Plaines Chapel, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Interment will be private. Born April 15, 1937, in Gary, Ind., he died Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Mr. Cadavid owned and operated City Barber Shop in Des Plaines for 49 years. He was the husband of Anne (nee Desecki); father of Sheral (Todd) Howe, Joseph (Mary) Cadavid, Carmen (Daniel) Froman and Gina (Kyle) Erickson; grandfather of Kaitlyn, Will, Calder, Adelyn and Lucas; and brother of Diane Phelan.
