Joseph M. Grzelak, 61 of Des Plaines, passed away March 19, 2022. He was born in Poland, September 29, 1960 to the late John and Klara (nee Bryla); beloved husband of Mary (nee Solak); loving father of Jennifer, Matthew and Jonathan; dear brother of Genevieve (Edward) Mokrzycki, Christine (John) Les, Stanley (Jadwiga) Grzelak; cherished Godfather of Lisa and the late Daniel, fond uncle to many nieces and nephews and soon to be father-in-law to Julio.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016. A funeral mass will occur Monday, March 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Zachary Parish, 567 W. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60016 following a graveside service at 12:00 PM at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL 60714.
