A Celebration of Life Service for Ladd J. Holub, 91, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines, with Rev. Virginia Ericson officiating. Interment will be private. Born June 5, 1920, in Chicago, he passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, in Chicago. Ladd was employed as a building manager. He was a member of the Westchester Masonic Lodge, Medinah Shriners and Order of the Eastern Star. He was the husband of Addelaide (nee Kuda); father of Judy (Rick) Sleep, Gerald (Kim) Holub and Garry Holub; grandfather of five; great-grandfather of one; brother of the late Tony Holub and the late Adeline Holub; brother-in-law of Betty (the late William) Sykora; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Shriners Hospital for Children, appreciated.
