He passed away at home on December 11, 2015, at the age of 86; beloved husband of the late Nancy nee Tegtmeier; dear father of Debbie (John) Gorman, Jamie Scalia, Michelle (Marcelino) Garcia, Mark (Camille) Scalia, the late Christine Wilson and the late Neal Scalia; grandfather of 10; great-grandfather of 4. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 17th at the Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Hwy. / Rt. 14 at Rand Rd.), Des Plaines from 9:30 am until time of service 11:00 am; entombment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
