Beloved husband of Robert for over 44 years; devoted mother, and homemaker. She graduated 1948 from Waller High School in Chicago. In her younger days, she had a passion for the arts, painting, dancing and theatre. She attended Northwestern University night school and won the Harvest Moon Festival dance contest in 1950. As a member of the Mount Prospect Junior Women’s League, she secured countless donations for the WTTW Phone-a-Thon and was seen on TV answering phone calls for many fundraisers. She volunteered her time endlessly to Notre Dame High School in Niles, The Loyal Order of the Moose, and was very active member at St. Raymond’s School and Church. Her greatest achievement came in October 1997 when she received certification to become a Certified Addictions Counselor. She worked for 7 years at Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines on the 4th floor wing Keys to Recovery. She counseled and helped many people struggling with addiction, and was a devoted member to many support groups and Friends of Bill W. Her greatest passion was helping people and having an annual fundraiser of her own called The Big ‘G’ Garage Sale, which attracted many people to her home over the years.
